Weather Conditions in Delhi

On Sunday, Delhi recorded a minimum temperature of 27.8 degrees Celsius. The meteorological department has predicted light rain accompanied by strong surface winds.


Light rain was observed in the national capital on Saturday afternoon.


According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Safdarjung recorded 2.6 mm of rain, while Palam, Ayanagar, and Lodhi Road reported 0.4 mm, 0.4 mm, and 0.2 mm of rainfall, respectively. Between 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM, Palam saw 1.4 mm of rain, Safdarjung recorded 0.8 mm, and light showers were noted in Ayanagar, Lodhi Road, and Ridge.


The weather department anticipates strong winds and light rain on Sunday, with maximum temperatures expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius.


Air Quality Index in Delhi

As per the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 AM on Sunday was recorded at 59, which falls within the satisfactory range. The CPCB categorizes AQI levels as follows: 0-50 is considered 'Good', 51-100 is 'Satisfactory', 101-200 is 'Moderate', 201-300 is 'Poor', 301-400 is 'Very Poor', and 401-500 is classified as 'Severe'.
