Significant Collaboration for Educational Growth

New Delhi. A pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been established between the Delhi Teacher University and the Sanskrit Promotion Institute, focusing on various aspects of the National Education Policy, including education, research, the Indian knowledge tradition, and the promotion of the Sanskrit language.




The primary aim of this agreement is to enhance teacher education, Sanskrit studies, the Indian Knowledge System (IKS), training programs, collaborative research activities, workshops, seminars, and online academic courses. Under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Anu Singh Lather from Delhi Teacher University and Prof. Chand Kiran Saluja from the Sanskrit Promotion Institute, both institutions will engage in educational initiatives. They will work together to integrate Indian languages and cultural values into both school and higher education.




The event was attended by senior officials and educators from both the university and the institute. Prof. Chand Kiran Saluja emphasized that this collaboration aligns with the spirit of the National Education Policy-2020, providing a new direction for educational discourse rooted in the Indian knowledge tradition and Sanskrit. Dr. Sanjeev Rai, the Secretary of Delhi Teacher University, remarked that this MoU represents a significant step towards connecting youth with Indian intellectual traditions and fostering innovation in teaching and learning.
