Exciting Return of the Delhi Premier League

The Delhi Premier League (DPL) is gearing up for its highly anticipated Season 2, with eight players already confirmed for retention ahead of the tournament. Since its inception in 2024, the DPL has quickly established itself as a key platform for emerging talent, significantly contributing to the rise of IPL 2025 stars like Digvesh Rathi and Priyansh Arya, who made memorable debuts.


Participating Teams for Season 2

This season will see an expansion from six to eight teams, introducing two new franchises. The teams competing in Season 2 include: North Delhi Strikers, Central Delhi Kings, Purani Dilli, West Delhi Lions, East Delhi Riders, Outer Delhi Warriors, South Delhi Superstarz, and New Delhi Tigers.

The DPL 2025 Mega Auction is scheduled for July 6, starting at 10 AM IST, with live streaming available on Fancode. Each franchise has retained one player and will enter the auction with a budget of INR 1.5 crore. Additionally, each team will receive one Right to Match (RTM) card to retain a player from the auction pool.
