New Delhi, April 7: In a commendable effort, the Delhi Police have located 34 individuals, including several minors, during a focused five-day initiative named 'Mission Safe Return,' executed by the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of the Outer District.

Due to the delicate nature of these cases, particularly those involving minors, the AHTU was tasked with the operation to ensure a concentrated and effective response. This special campaign commenced on March 31, under the direct oversight of Vikram Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Outer District.

A specialized team was assembled, including Sub Inspector Sunil Kumar, ASI Sanjeev, ASI Jag Pravesh, ASI Mahender Singh, and Woman Constable Rinki, all working under the guidance of ACP Virender Dalal. Their mission-oriented strategy emphasized the rapid recovery of missing individuals while ensuring thorough coordination at every operational level.

Throughout the rigorous operation, the team engaged in extensive field inquiries, speaking with parents, guardians, neighbors, friends, and colleagues of the missing persons. These interactions were bolstered by systematic intelligence gathering and verification across various locations in Delhi.

The operation was conducted tirelessly over five days, with officers working around the clock. Advanced technical surveillance methods were utilized to track leads, analyze data, and identify movement patterns, significantly improving the effectiveness of the search efforts.

Thanks to their persistent efforts, professionalism, and precise coordination, the team successfully located 34 missing individuals and children from different areas of the city. Initial investigations indicated that most had left home due to minor family disputes or personal issues.

Officials emphasized that this operation underscores the police force's dedication to public safety and community welfare. The recovered individuals have been reunited with their families after following the necessary legal protocols.

Investigating officers from the relevant police stations are currently pursuing further legal actions in these cases.
