Police Register FIR After Protest Violence

The Delhi Police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against unidentified individuals in connection with the violence, stone-pelting, and vandalism of police vehicles that occurred near Regal Cinema in Connaught Place during a protest. Sources revealed this information on Tuesday.


According to reports, during the protests on Monday in the outer circle of Connaught Place, demonstrators allegedly engaged in stone-pelting, caused damage to several police vehicles, and attacked law enforcement personnel.


Investigation Underway to Identify Perpetrators

Police sources indicated that efforts are ongoing to identify those involved in the violence using CCTV footage, video recordings, and other electronic evidence. This action follows clashes between protesters and security personnel that took place a day after the 'Chalo Parliament' march. Over 118 police officers sustained injuries during the altercations, and police vehicles were damaged.
