Delhi Police Rescues Missing Teen After Mysterious Phone Call

New Delhi. The Delhi Police have successfully located a young girl whose life was turned upside down by an unexpected phone call. This call from an unknown number led to chaos within her family. The girl became so infatuated with a boy she met through this call that she decided to run away, leaving her single mother behind. The sudden disappearance of the 17-year-old caused immense distress for her mother, especially since her father had passed away seven years prior. This incident took place in the Samaypur Badli area of Delhi.

Police Investigation

The girl's mother reported her disappearance to the Delhi Police. Following her complaint, a case was registered, and due to the minor status of the girl, the investigation was handed over to the Crime Branch. The police were particularly concerned about the mother's well-being, prompting them to initiate a thorough investigation.

Successful Recovery

Girl Abandons Mother Given the sensitive nature of the case, the Crime Branch took charge and worked tirelessly, analyzing mobile call data records (CDRs) to locate the victim. Eventually, they managed to recover her from the Delhi Cantonment area. The investigation revealed that the girl was illiterate and had been working as a maid. She had connected with the boy through a wrong number call, and they had been in regular contact. On October 28 of the previous year, she left home without informing her mother. Fortunately, the Delhi Police were able to reunite the girl with her mother, who was overwhelmed with emotion upon seeing her daughter again.
