Delhi Police Rescues Missing Teen After Mysterious Phone Call

New Delhi. The Delhi Police has successfully located a young girl whose life was turned upside down by an unexpected phone call. This call from an unknown number led to chaos within her family. The girl became so infatuated with the boy on the other end that she decided to run away, leaving her single mother behind. The sudden disappearance of the 17-year-old caused immense distress for her mother, especially since her father had passed away seven years prior. This incident took place in the time period of the year in the area of Samaypur Badli in Delhi.

Police Investigation

The girl's mother reported her disappearance to the Delhi Police, prompting them to file a case. Given that the girl was a minor, the investigation was handed over to the Crime Branch. The police were also concerned about the mother's well-being, leading them to initiate a thorough investigation.

Successful Recovery

The girl was found in the Delhi Cantonment area, thanks to the analysis of call detail records (CDR) from multiple phone numbers. Investigators discovered that the girl was illiterate and had been working as a maid. She had connected with the boy through a wrong number call, and they had been in contact ever since. On October 28 of the previous year, she left home without informing her mother. Ultimately, the Delhi Police managed to reunite the girl with her mother, who was overwhelmed with emotion upon seeing her daughter again.
