Delhi Police Refutes Claims of CJP Founder Abhijit Dipke's Detention
Clarification from Delhi Police
New Delhi: On Monday, the Delhi Police dismissed rumors circulating on social media regarding the alleged detention of Abhijit Dipke, the founder of CJP, labeling these claims as "completely false."
In a statement posted on X, the police clarified, "There are misleading reports on various social media platforms suggesting that Abhijit Dipke has been detained by the Delhi Police. We formally state that these allegations are entirely untrue, and he is currently present on stage."
Previously, Saurav Das, the chief spokesperson for CJP, had claimed on X that Abhijit Dipke was taken into custody by the police.
"Dipke has been apprehended by the police," Das asserted.
"We urge all Members of Parliament to immediately support the students protesting on the streets. The police are violently suppressing and assaulting peaceful demonstrators," he alleged.
