Significant Arrests by Delhi Police

The Special Cell of the Delhi Police has achieved a major breakthrough by apprehending two associates linked to the banned organization Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) and its founder, terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu. These arrests were made in connection with incidents of inflammatory slogans being written at various locations in Delhi just before Republic Day (January 26), aimed at inciting unrest.

The arrests stem from an incident where provocative messages were inscribed at two different sites in Delhi shortly before Republic Day, allegedly intended to disturb public peace and instill fear.

Investigation Reveals International Conspiracy

Investigators have uncovered that the entire plot was orchestrated from Canada. A close associate of Pannu, who resides there, hired two individuals—Baljinder and Rohit alias Kirat—to execute the plan in Delhi. Police sources indicated that both were lured with a sum of two lakh rupees to write offensive messages in public areas. Baljinder reportedly works as an ambulance driver in Delhi, with Rohit as his accomplice.

Mastermind Flees to Canada

Authorities revealed that the main mastermind behind this operation, who lived in Tilak Nagar, fled to Canada just days before Republic Day. He was in direct contact with Pannu and coordinated the entire operation through foreign handlers. Police teams are now searching for other associates of Pannu who may have been involved in this significant conspiracy.

FIR Filed Against Pannu

According to reports, the Delhi Police Special Cell has filed an FIR against Pannu for allegedly threatening to disrupt peace in the national capital ahead of Republic Day 2026. The case has been registered under sections 196, 197, 152, and 61 of the Indian Penal Code, which pertain to promoting enmity, undermining national unity, and acts threatening India's sovereignty and integrity. Investigators are also examining a video previously released by Pannu, in which he claimed that his 'sleeper cells' had put up pro-Khalistan posters in the Rohini and Dabri areas of Delhi. The police are verifying the authenticity of these claims as part of their ongoing investigation.
