Delhi Metro Network Fully Operational Again

After several days of restrictions at various stations, the entry gates across the entire Delhi Metro network have reopened. According to the latest update from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), passengers can now freely access all metro stations. This development comes in the wake of the announcement of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation, which was prompted by widespread protests demanding accountability over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations.

Minister's Resignation Sparks Celebrations

In its recent service update, DMRC confirmed that all entry gates at metro stations are now operational, indicating a return to normalcy across the network. Previously, stringent security measures had restricted access to several metro stations in central Delhi. While announcing his resignation on social media, Pradhan expressed his respect for the aspirations and legitimate expectations of the youth of the nation. He acknowledged Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the opportunity to serve under his leadership and emphasized the moral responsibility to assist young Indians in realizing their dreams.

Protests Erupt Nationwide

Pradhan stated his firm intention to ensure that the youth do not become entangled in confusion. He highlighted the need to prevent anti-national elements from exploiting the situation at protest sites like Jantar Mantar, ensuring national unity, and allowing students to focus on their education and career paths. Following his resignation announcement, celebrations erupted at the protest site in Jantar Mantar, with the Cockroach Public Party (CJP) tweeting in support of student power.
