New Delhi: Six stations of the Delhi Metro, including Central Secretariat, Rajiv Chowk, and Patel Chowk, will have their entry and exit points shut until 4 PM on Monday. This closure is in anticipation of a protest organized by the Congress party against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

According to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the affected stations—Janpath, Mandi House, Barakhamba Road, Central Secretariat, Rajiv Chowk, and Patel Chowk—will not allow entry or exit for security reasons. However, passengers can still use interchange facilities at these stations, as confirmed by the DMRC in a statement on X.

Security agencies will monitor the situation and provide updates as necessary. Despite the closures, interchange options will remain operational at all impacted metro stations.
