While framing the charges, Special Judge Vishal Gogna of the Rouse Avenue Court (Prevention of Corruption Act) found that Lalu Prasad Yadav allegedly misused his position during his tenure as Railway Minister to manipulate eligibility criteria in the land tender process. The court concluded that he was fully aware of the alleged conspiracy and actively intervened in the decision-making process, resulting in significant losses to the government treasury.
