Delhi's Proactive Measures Against Covid-19

New Delhi: On Friday, the Delhi government released a Covid advisory urging hospitals to ensure they are ready with sufficient beds, oxygen supplies, medications, and vaccines.

This advisory was prompted by a rise in Covid cases reported across various states.

Health authorities have instructed medical facilities to forward all positive Covid samples for genome sequencing to Lok Nayak Hospital.

The directive emphasizes that hospitals must maintain readiness by having adequate beds, oxygen, antibiotics, and other essential medications available. Additionally, all medical equipment, including ventilators, Bi-PAP machines, oxygen concentrators, and PSA systems, should be operational.

Furthermore, it is required that daily updates on all health parameters be submitted to the Delhi State Health Data Management Portal.
