On Monday morning, the minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 23.6 degrees Celsius, which is 3.7 degrees Celsius below the seasonal average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted generally cloudy skies throughout the day, along with a chance of moderate rainfall.
According to the IMD, the maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius. Several areas in Delhi experienced rainfall on Sunday evening, providing relief from the oppressive heat. Over the past 24 hours, the city received 16 millimeters of rain.
By 8:30 AM on Monday, the humidity level was noted at 100 percent. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) reported that the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 AM was 65, which falls under the 'satisfactory' category. The CPCB classifies AQI levels as follows: 0-50 is 'good', 51-100 is 'satisfactory', 101-200 is 'moderate', 201-300 is 'poor', 301-400 is 'very poor', and 401-500 is 'severe'.
