Court Decision on NEET-UG Case Charges

New Delhi: On Thursday, a court in Delhi postponed its ruling regarding the charges against 14 individuals implicated in the NEET-UG paper leak incident.

Special Judge Ajay Gupta announced that the decision will be revealed on November 18.

Earlier this year, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) submitted a chargesheet against 13 individuals in this fast-track court, which is addressing criminal cases linked to paper leaks and other dishonest practices in public examinations.

Additionally, a supplementary chargesheet was filed against the 14th suspect, Sheshrav Bajrang Suryawanshi, also known as Raj Suryawanshi, who was apprehended on September 2 in Nanded, Maharashtra.

The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate), commonly referred to as NEET-UG, is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for aspiring medical students.

Due to allegations of a paper leak, the NTA annulled the NEET-UG exam conducted on May 3, and a re-examination took place on June 21.
