New Delhi, August 3 - On Monday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of Delhi assured that strict action would be taken against a vendor operating a Jan Aushadhi center at a government hospital in Dwarka for refusing to provide medication to patients. Gupta shared a video on her social media platform where an individual was seen complaining about the staff at the Jan Aushadhi center denying medicines to patients and their attendants.

Gupta emphasized that such behavior in public services is entirely unacceptable. She stated that the vendor's license would be revoked as a consequence of this incident. In her post, she remarked that denying essential items like medicine while mopping the floor is completely intolerable. The video had been widely shared, with many tagging her in it.

In the video, the complainant is heard saying, 'Go and complain to whoever you want.' Gupta also mentioned that the Delhi government is working to enhance accountability through the Right to Service Bill, ensuring that every citizen receives the services they are entitled to.
