Delhi Chief Minister Unveils New Office for Public Service

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has officially opened her new camp office, 'Jan Seva Sadan', in the Civil Lines area. This initiative aims to enhance public engagement, with plans for the CM to hold public hearings at the office. Law Minister Kapil Mishra highlighted that this marks a significant step as it is the first time a Chief Minister's office has been made accessible to the public. The inauguration included a ceremonial Havan attended by Gupta and her family, while renovations continue at her official residence.

Inauguration of 'Jan Seva Sadan'

On Friday, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta inaugurated her new camp office named 'Jan Seva Sadan' located on Raj Niwas Marg in the Civil Lines area. The Public Works Department has allocated two bungalows on the same road for Gupta, one designated as her residence and the other as her office.


Public Engagement Initiatives

Delhi's Law Minister Kapil Mishra announced that the Chief Minister will hold public hearings at Jan Seva Sadan. He also asserted that this is the first instance of a Chief Minister's office being opened to the public in Delhi.


Ceremonial Blessings

During the inauguration ceremony, a Havan ritual was performed, attended by Gupta and her family. Renovations are currently underway at the second bungalow, which will serve as her official residence, while she is presently residing in Shalimar Bagh in North Delhi.
