Meeting with District Magistrates

On Tuesday, Delhi's Chief Minister Rekha Gupta held a virtual meeting with district magistrates to discuss the necessity of establishing a 'mini-secretariat' at the district level.

According to a statement released by the Chief Minister's office, Gupta engaged with the district magistrates (DMs) from all 11 districts to deliberate on development plans and other pertinent issues related to Delhi, including the establishment of cow shelters.

The statement highlighted that the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of a mini-secretariat in each district to address the concerns of the general public. The government is also planning to set up cow shelters in every district.

Gupta stated that resolving the issues faced by Delhi residents is a top priority, and the establishment of a mini-secretariat in each district would help citizens avoid the hassle of visiting multiple government offices across the city.

The district magistrates reported that necessary actions have already been initiated in this regard. The Chief Minister has also instructed all DMs to identify suitable land for the establishment of cow shelters in all 11 districts.
