The Delhi Cabinet has granted approval for the Private University Bill on Friday. Education Minister Ashish Sood announced that under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Cabinet has paved the way for the establishment of private universities in the capital. He noted that many students from Delhi have been seeking quality higher education in other parts of the country or abroad, which incurs significant expenses.
