Significant Flight Disruptions at Delhi Airport


New Delhi: On Tuesday, the Delhi airport experienced significant disruptions, with at least 10 flights cancelled and over 270 delayed due to dense fog and poor visibility.


According to an official statement, the cancellations included 6 incoming and 4 outgoing flights.


Flight tracking data from Flightradar24.com indicated that more than 270 flights faced delays, with an average wait time of 29 minutes for departures.


The airport operator, DIAL, noted on X that visibility is gradually improving, but delays for certain destinations may still occur.


Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) manages approximately 1,300 flight movements each day.
