On Wednesday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is set to visit Ayodhya to participate in the 'Pratishtha Dwadashi' ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. Singh shared this information through a post on his official social media account.
In his post, he expressed his excitement about being in Ayodhya on December 31 to witness the rituals and partake in the ceremony. Earlier, on December 14, Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, announced that the Pran Pratishtha Dwadashi would be celebrated on December 31, and confirmed that the Defense Minister had accepted the invitation to attend.
Ceremonial Details and Significance
Champat Rai further mentioned that they had invited Rajnath Singh for the event, which he has graciously accepted. The presence of the Defense Minister is expected to attract other dignitaries, including the Chief Minister. On the second day of the Pratishtha Dwadashi Paatotsav, various rituals will be conducted at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, including the Tattva Kalash, Tattva Hom, Manju Sukta Hom, Ram Tarak Mantra Hom, and other sacred ceremonies.
In the evening, a procession of the deity will take place, circling the Shri Ram Temple premises three times daily, continuing throughout the rituals. All these events are being organized under the guidance of the revered Vishwaprasanna Teerth Ji Maharaj. According to the priests, this ritual is a Vedic karmic ceremony aimed at balancing the fundamental elements of creation and dispelling adharma, obstacles, and unrest.
