Advisory for Students During Kanwar Yatra

In Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the Darul Uloom Islamic educational institution located in Deoband has issued a special advisory for its students during the Kanwar Yatra. The notice, released on Wednesday evening, emphasizes the importance of avoiding unnecessary movement along the Kanwar routes. Maulana Ashraf Abbas, the hostel in-charge, stated that this advisory aims to ensure the safety of students and maintain discipline during the pilgrimage.


Students have been advised to refrain from unnecessary travel on the Kanwar routes and the GT Road, only venturing out when absolutely necessary. Additionally, they are instructed to travel exclusively in reserved compartments and to carry their identification cards issued by Darul Uloom at all times. The institution has made it clear that no student will be allowed to enter the premises without an identification card after sunset.
