Intruders Target Family in Upscale Lucknow Neighborhood

In a shocking incident in Lucknow, a group of seven robbers broke into the home of a real estate businessman in the upscale Gomti Nagar area. The family was taken hostage, and the intruders resorted to violence against the homeowners. Upon entering the daughters' rooms, the girls were terrified upon seeing the strangers, leading to an unexpected turn of events.

The robbers, not satisfied with merely threatening the family, tied up the homeowner and his wife. They then proceeded to ransack the house for nearly an hour, ultimately making off with gold and silver jewelry along with a staggering ₹20 lakh in cash.

Chamanlal Diwakar, originally from Kanpur, resides in Lucknow with his wife Sunita, daughters Komal, Priya, Kajal, and son Piyush. He reported to the police that the intruders wore masks and threatened them with firearms when they attempted to scream for help. The robbers went as far as to bind their hands and feet with curtains and tape their mouths shut.

Chamanlal recounted that when the robbers entered the rooms of his elder daughters, Komal and Kajal, they were visibly shaken. The intruders reassured the frightened girls, stating they also had sisters at home and urged them to remain calm while they completed their task. After the robbery, the culprits fled, and law enforcement is currently working to apprehend them as quickly as possible.
