Intruders Storm a Family Home
In a shocking incident in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, a group of seven robbers broke into the home of a real estate businessman in the upscale Vivek Khand-1 area of Gomti Nagar. The family was taken hostage, and the intruders resorted to violence against the homeowners.
As the situation escalated, the robbers tied up the homeowner and his wife, rummaging through the house for valuables. They spent nearly an hour searching through cabinets, ultimately making off with gold and silver jewelry, along with cash totaling around 20 lakh rupees.
Chamanlal Diwakar, originally from Kanpur, resides in Lucknow with his wife Sunita and their children Komal, Priya, Kajal, and son Piyush. Diwakar reported to the police that the intruders wore masks, and when the family screamed in fear, the robbers threatened them with firearms, even going so far as to bind their hands and feet with curtains and tape their mouths shut.
Diwakar recounted that when the robbers entered the rooms of his daughters Komal and Kajal, the girls were terrified. The intruders attempted to calm them by saying, 'Don't be scared, we have sisters too. Just stay quiet and let us do our work.' After completing their theft, the robbers fled the scene, and the police are now actively searching for them to ensure their swift capture.
