Dalhousie – The Shri Guru Singh Sabha in Dalhousie recently marked its 99th annual Diwan with profound reverence and devotion. The Gurudwara President, Paramjit Singh, expressed his happiness over this significant milestone, highlighting that the Gurudwara Sahib, established by their ancestors, has reached 99 years, with the upcoming year set to celebrate its centenary—a proud moment for the community.



The religious festivities commenced on June 11 with the initiation of the Akhand Path, culminating on June 15 with its final recitation. A grand Nagar Kirtan took place on June 14, attracting both local devotees and tourists. The event featured lively performances from various Kirtan groups, including Bhai Kulwinder Singh’s team from Kharar, who captivated the audience at Subhash Chowk and Gandhi Chowk. The local Kirtan Jatha, comprising Bhai Manish and Vishal Kohli, along with Bhai Kulwinder, delivered moving renditions at the Gurudwara, elevating the spirits of all present.

After the prayers, Guru’s Langar was served to all attendees, allowing devotees to share in this sacred meal. President Paramjit Singh, along with other members of the Shri Guru Singh Sabha, expressed their heartfelt appreciation to visitors, including pilgrims from Chamba, for their steadfast support and participation.
