Dakshineswar Suresh kicked off his campaign at the Bengaluru Open 2026 with a commanding performance on Tuesday, defeating Croatia's Duje Ajdukovic with a score of 6-4, 6-4, securing his place in the Round of 16. The towering Indian player, standing at six feet six inches, showcased his skills at the S M Krishna Tennis Stadium, relying heavily on a powerful first serve that resulted in 20 aces, allowing him to control the match from the beginning.

Suresh, who made his debut for the Indian Davis Cup team last year, quickly established dominance by breaking Ajdukovic's serve early in the first set. He consistently pressured his opponent with deep returns and maintained his advantage, ultimately winning the set 6-4.
