Reports indicate that cybercriminals targeted a woman's mobile and UPI account in the Gobar Chowki area of Tajganj. They managed to hack her WhatsApp through a phone call.
Following the breach, the fraudsters siphoned off ₹88,000 from her accounts, including those at SBI and PNB.
The victim, Sarvesh Verma, has lodged a complaint at the local police station, leading to the registration of a case against the cybercriminals.
