Stephen Fleming, the head coach of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), highlighted the unpredictable nature of T20 cricket, noting that a player in good form can dominate the game. He expressed unwavering support for Sanju Samson, emphasizing the team's commitment to his development within the CSK framework.
This statement follows a challenging performance by Samson, who has struggled in his last three matches since being traded from Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2026. In a recent match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, CSK faced a daunting target of 251 runs, but Samson was dismissed for a single-digit score, contributing to CSK's third consecutive defeat.

"T20 cricket can shift rapidly. We witnessed this during the T20 World Cup, where a batter on a roll can be extremely impactful. Sanju is one of those players who can be very dangerous.
