Father of Cricketer Rinku Singh Passes Away
Khanchand Singh, the father of cricketer Rinku Singh, passed away at a Greater Noida hospital and was cremated in Aligarh on Friday. A significant number of people gathered to pay their respects.
At the age of 60, Khanchand Singh succumbed to fourth-stage cancer early Friday morning. Overwhelmed with grief, Rinku Singh carried his father's remains during the funeral procession to the crematorium.

Rajeev Shukla, the Vice-President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), expressed his sorrow, stating, "The news of Rinku Singh's father's passing is very heartbreaking. He had been ill for a year... Rinku is also very upset... This is very sad... I pay my tributes to him."
Rinku Singh's Return During T20 World Cup
Rinku Singh, who is part of India's T20 World Cup squad, hurried back after the team's first Super Eight match against South Africa due to his father's deteriorating health. He later rejoined the Indian team.
