A Historic Return for Cricket
This event marks a significant milestone for cricket, which will be featured in the Olympics for the second time, 128 years after its initial appearance in Paris 1900, where Great Britain won gold.
Match Details and Venue
All matches will occur at the Pomona Fairplex, located approximately 50 kilometers from downtown Los Angeles. Most matchdays will feature double-headers, with games starting at 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM local time.
Future Qualification Process
The qualification process for the LA28 Olympic Games is still under discussion and is expected to be addressed during the ICC's Annual Conference in Singapore, commencing on July 17.

Cricket's inclusion in the Olympics highlights its increasing global appeal. Women's cricket made its Commonwealth Games debut in 2022, while both men's and women's formats have been part of the Asian Games since 2010.
Recent Developments in Cricket
Last year, the USA co-hosted the ICC T20 World Cup alongside the West Indies, with matches held in Grand Prairie, Lauderhill, and New York. Notably, the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium hosted a high-profile match between India and Pakistan.
