COVID-19 Cases Rise in Haryana and Maharashtra

COVID-19 Update from Haryana and Maharashtra
On Sunday, Haryana and Maharashtra reported 12 and 77 new COVID-19 cases, respectively. According to the Maharashtra health department, the state has recorded a total of 1,439 COVID-19 cases since January 1 of this year.
Among the 77 new cases reported on Sunday, 41 were from Pune, 25 from Mumbai, six from Kolhapur, four from Navi Mumbai, and one from Nagpur. Mumbai has seen a total of 665 cases this year, with 659 of those occurring in May alone.
So far this year, 18 fatalities due to COVID-19 have been reported in the state, with 17 of those individuals having pre-existing health conditions. Meanwhile, the Haryana health department has noted a total of 181 COVID-19 cases this year, with 100 patients currently undergoing treatment as of Sunday. Only one patient is hospitalized, while the others are isolating at home.
