Court Expresses Discontent Over Delays in CBI Investigation
Judicial Concerns Over Investigation Delays
The court has voiced strong dissatisfaction regarding the delays in a serious investigation being conducted by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The judiciary emphasized that the agency is expected to operate in a timely and effective manner, yet the current progress of the investigation appears unsatisfactory.
During the hearing, the court remarked that pending investigations not only delay justice for the victims but also raise questions about the entire judicial process. It was stated that unnecessary delays in such cases are unacceptable under any circumstances.
Officials were instructed to clarify the progress made in the investigation thus far and the reasons behind the delays. The court directed the investigative agency to expedite all necessary aspects and submit a comprehensive report as soon as possible.
The victim's side has also expressed concerns regarding the slow pace of the investigation and has called for prompt justice. The court indicated that if progress remains stagnant, stringent measures may be taken.
Currently, following these remarks, pressure has mounted on the investigative agency, and there are expectations for an acceleration in the investigation process to ensure timely resolution of the case.
