On Monday, a couple and their daughter were reportedly shot and injured by unidentified assailants in the Alamganj area of Patna, the capital of Bihar. This information was confirmed by local police.

The incident occurred around 9:15 AM near the Arfabad canal in the Alamganj police jurisdiction. Assistant Police Superintendent Atulesh Jha informed a news agency, "The police arrived at the scene and transported the victims to a nearby government hospital. The man's condition is stable, while his wife and daughter are reported to be in serious condition."

Jha also mentioned that the motive behind the attack remains unclear, and efforts are underway to apprehend the suspects. Additionally, on Sunday, three individuals, including a sub-inspector and his son, were injured in a shooting related to a land dispute in the Danrhua area of Patna.

The injured sub-inspector has been identified as Manoj Singh, who is stationed in the Saharsa district. Police reported that he is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
