Cora Jade has reportedly been released from WWE amidst a wave of departures following Wrestlemania 41. Although the organization has not confirmed these changes, Jade took to her X/Twitter account to share her feelings about the situation.

“Just got a lot of free time in our hands, see you soon,” she tweeted, followed by another message expressing her gratitude and hinting at future plans: “Thankful for all the childhood dreams I got to live out! I have a lot to say in due time. Stay tuned xoxo.” She also shared a photo with fellow WWE release Blair Davenport.

Cora Jade, whose real name is Brianna Coda, joined WWE in 2021 and quickly became a notable figure in the NXT women's division. Despite not capturing the top NXT women's championship, she was a regular presence on television. Initially introduced as a skateboarder, she later transitioned to a more aggressive persona, particularly during her rivalry with Roxanne Perez.

She previously held the WWE NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Perez, with whom she shared one of the most intense rivalries in recent NXT history. However, injuries sidelined her for a significant portion of late 2023 and 2024, leading to speculation about her future with the company due to her absence from NXT broadcasts.

Cora Jade Reintroduces Herself After WWE Departure

Following her release, Cora Jade has rebranded herself on Twitter as “Elayna Black,” a name familiar to her long-time supporters from before her WWE tenure. As she prepares to return to the independent wrestling circuit, she has shared her contact information for bookings: “Hit me up elaynablack@yahoo.com.”

To dispel rumors regarding her injuries, Cora Jade faced TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich at TNA Sacrifice 2025 in March, marking her final televised match as a WWE NXT Superstar. This match was particularly emotional for her, as it reminded her of her childhood experiences attending live wrestling events, where she met then Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne.
