"He made a notable impression for Punjab Kings right from his debut against GT with a valuable innings. Connolly's First Century Goes Unrewarded as PBKS Falls to SRH

In a recent match, the Punjab Kings faced their third consecutive defeat in IPL 2026, unable to chase down a daunting target of 236 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite Connolly's remarkable unbeaten century. In just his 10th IPL appearance, Connolly scored his first T20 century at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad, becoming the youngest overseas player to achieve this milestone. He finished with an impressive 107 not out off 59 deliveries, including seven fours and eight sixes, bringing his total runs for PBKS to 377, making him the franchise's top scorer.
