Significant Rise in LPG Prices Announced
New Delhi: On Monday, Union Oil Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced a hike in the price of cooking gas, commonly known as LPG, by Rs 50 per cylinder.
This increase affects both Ujwalla scheme beneficiaries and general consumers, as stated by the minister.
For general users, the cost of a 14.2-kg LPG cylinder will rise from Rs 803 to Rs 853, while those under the Ujwalla scheme will see their prices go up from Rs 503 to Rs 553 for the same cylinder.
