Allegations Against Ashutosh Brahmachari

Ashutosh Brahmachari has been in the spotlight following a controversy linked to Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand. Recently, a property dealer from Mathura has made serious allegations against him. The dealer claims that Brahmachari purchased a Scorpio vehicle but filed a police complaint against him when he sought payment for the remaining balance.

Details of the Allegations

According to the dealer, Manish Chaturvedi, Ashutosh Brahmachari bought the Scorpio for ₹18 lakh in 2023 but only paid ₹2.5 lakh. Chaturvedi alleges that upon requesting the outstanding amount, Brahmachari retaliated by filing a case against him. Subsequently, a complaint was also lodged against Ashutosh Maharaj.

Response from Ashutosh Maharaj

The case is currently in court, with both parties presenting their claims. Chaturvedi states that police have visited Brahmachari's residence multiple times but have yet to recover the vehicle. He further alleges that Brahmachari claims to be the head of a trust, which he supposedly operates from a private residence.

Brahmachari's Defense

In response to the allegations, Ashutosh Maharaj refutes the claims, stating that the vehicle was purchased for ₹13.50 lakh, of which he has already paid ₹13 lakh, leaving only ₹50,000 outstanding. He accuses Chaturvedi of demanding an additional ₹5 lakh. Maharaj also mentioned that he has received a stay order from the High Court regarding this matter.

Legal Proceedings and Ongoing Investigation

When contacted, Chaturvedi clarified that the stay order pertains to preventing his arrest, not regarding the vehicle itself. He emphasized that the police have filed a charge sheet, and the search for the car continues. 'My car is missing, and I am seeking justice from the authorities,' he stated.

Details of the Vehicle Transaction

Chaturvedi explained that the deal for the car was made by his partner, Dhananjay Bhardwaj, with Ashutosh Pandey. The agreed price was ₹18 lakh, with ₹2,25,000 paid in installments. After the payment was halted, Brahmachari allegedly misled him. Chaturvedi filed a case at the Govind Nagar police station in Mathura on May 2, 2024.

Current Status of the Vehicle

Chaturvedi claims that he has been harassed in this situation and threatened with legal action. He asserts that Brahmachari approached the High Court in 2025 with false documents to obtain a stay. Notably, the vehicle is still registered in Chaturvedi's name, and its insurance expired in January 2026.
