Controversy Surrounding AAP Leader Raghav Chadha Intensifies
Raghav Chadha's Allegations and Responses
In Rohtak, former AAP leader Naveen Jaihind has made serious allegations against Raghav Chadha, claiming he is a wealthy and loyal associate of Arvind Kejriwal. The core of the controversy revolves around alleged extortion activities in Punjab and Delhi. Naveen has even called for narco tests for both Chadha and Kejriwal.
According to Naveen, the real issue is the collection of extortion money intended for Singapore, which Chadha reportedly diverted to England instead. He further alleged that Chadha was assaulted in Delhi and later beaten at a secret location in Chandigarh.
Naveen emphasized that the entire situation is rooted in financial misconduct and corruption. He referenced a video Chadha posted, where he appeared distressed, claiming he had sustained an eye injury that required treatment in England, which was not available in India.
He also suggested that Chadha's recent statements were an attempt to convey a message akin to a character from a film, implying that Kejriwal is involved in dubious activities. Naveen urged Chadha to clarify the purpose of the funds he collected, particularly regarding transfers and contracts involving IAS and IPS officials in Punjab.
Naveen insisted that a narco test would reveal the truth about both Chadha and Kejriwal. He criticized the misleading narratives being circulated, asserting that the real issues are being obscured.
In response to the allegations, the AAP has removed Raghav Chadha from his position as the deputy leader in the Rajya Sabha, citing three specific charges against him. Chadha has released a video denying these accusations, claiming they are part of a conspiracy against him. He stated that he has been raising public issues in Parliament and believes the truth will eventually come to light.
Initially hesitant to respond, Chadha decided to address the allegations, fearing that repeated falsehoods might be accepted as truth by some.
