Uddhav Thackeray Responds to Incident Involving MLA
Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of Shiv Sena (UBT), has commented on the incident where MLA Sanjay Gaikwad allegedly slapped a canteen worker over poor food quality. Thackeray clarified that Gaikwad is not part of his faction but belongs to the Shinde group. He noted that Eknath Shinde aspired to become Chief Minister but was unsuccessful, leading to his current impatience.
Devendra Fadnavis Condemns the Assault
On Wednesday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the incident involving Sanjay Gaikwad slapping a canteen employee at the Mumbai legislators' hostel. He stated that such actions send a negative message about all legislators, implying misuse of power. Fadnavis condemned the assault, labeling it unacceptable and disrespectful.
