SP MP's Controversial Remarks

Ajendra Singh Lodhi, a Member of Parliament from the Samajwadi Party (SP), stirred significant controversy on Monday by targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi with derogatory comments. In light of the ongoing crisis in West Asia, Modi's appeal to reduce fuel consumption and adopt frugality was met with sharp criticism from the MP representing Mahoba, who labeled the Prime Minister as the most anti-national figure in the country.

The SP MP asserted that no Prime Minister has ever been like Modi, nor will there be one in future governments. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) quickly retaliated against the SP leader's remarks. Party spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala stated that such statements reflect the political culture of the Samajwadi Party. He emphasized that the SP has once again demonstrated that it is not about 'the shop of love' but rather about 'brotherhood of hatred' and 'disrespect for the Constitution.'

Poonawala further noted that opposition leaders have repeatedly targeted PM Modi personally, including comments related to his background, caste, and family. He claimed that the Prime Minister has faced humiliation due to his roots in the OBC community and his humble 'chaiwala' background. The BJP spokesperson accused opposition parties of disrespecting Sanatan Dharma and constitutional institutions.

He stated that they insult Sanatan Dharma, undermine constitutional values, and repeatedly disrespect the Prime Minister. Poonawala also suggested that the recent electoral defeats have led to increased desperation among opposition parties, prompting such remarks. He concluded by asserting that the citizens of this country will respond decisively to these actions.
