Former BJP MP's Controversial Statements

Ramesh Bidhuri, a former Member of Parliament from the BJP, made contentious remarks regarding the crowd at Jantar Mantar. He asserted that there were more individuals involved in tire repairs and key-making than actual students participating in the protest. Discussing the demonstration, Bidhuri emphasized that the presence of tire repairers and key makers was significant, questioning the involvement of genuine students.

He further alleged that the number of students was minimal, suggesting that those using derogatory language against Prime Minister Narendra Modi were likely the children or relatives of tire repairers.

"Can anyone's son or daughter speak ill of Prime Minister Narendra Modi? Those using such language against Modi ji must be connected to tire repairers," he stated.

Accusations Against Social Elements

Bidhuri also claimed that certain anti-social elements had misled the 'Gen Z' demographic regarding the NEET issue, gathering them at Jantar Mantar. He accused these elements of attempting to disrupt democracy by planning an attack on Parliament on the 20th and inciting unrest in the country.

"These anti-social elements gathered Gen Z under the pretext of NEET, aiming to create chaos and undermine democracy," he remarked.

Call for Awareness Among Youth

The former MP urged that the misled Gen Z should be guided back to the right path and made aware of the developments in the country over the past 12 years compared to what transpired 12 years ago. He stressed the importance of educating the youth about the historical context of the nation.

"It's crucial for the misled Gen Z to understand the changes that have occurred in the last 12 years and the situation from 12 years prior," he concluded.
