New Delhi: An unusual case has ignited a fresh debate within administrative circles. Rinku Rahi, an officer who was previously injured in a shooting incident, has expressed a desire to transition back from the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) to the state civil service, known as PCS. This unexpected decision raises questions not only about government regulations but also about the administrative framework itself.

It has been reported that Rinku Rahi was initially a PCS officer before being promoted to the IAS. However, citing personal and professional reasons, he now wishes to revert to the PCS.
