Incident Overview

In the Tagore Garden area of West Delhi, a section of a building under construction collapsed onto a neighboring house, narrowly missing a family. This incident, reported by police on Thursday, could have resulted in serious injuries.


Bhagwan Singh, the homeowner, recounted that construction work was ongoing next door when a large portion of the structure fell onto his roof in the evening.


Singh stated, "Debris crashed through the ceiling and landed on a bed in my tenant's room. The family was present at that moment."


Injuries Reported

According to a police official, a woman named Maya sustained injuries to her head, while her husband Ram also suffered injuries. Their eight-year-old daughter, Arpita, was also hurt in the incident.


Authorities are currently investigating the situation and reviewing CCTV footage of the event.
