Congress Announces Major Campaigners for Municipal Elections

The Congress party has revealed a list of 40 prominent campaigners who will promote the party in the forthcoming municipal elections in Maharashtra. Notable figures on this list include Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin, Imran Pratapgarhi, and actor Raj Babbar. Additionally, former MP Priya Dutt, Mukul Wasnik, and ex-Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan are also featured among these key campaigners. In response to this announcement, the BJP pointed out that 10 of the listed campaigners belong to a specific religion, suggesting a trend towards religion-based vote bank politics.
