The Congress plans to hold regular meetings to strengthen their strategy against the ruling government, with the next gathering set for August in Hyderabad. Congress's Commitment to Public Issues

Kumari Shelja, a prominent Congress leader, emphasized that the party will vigorously continue to raise significant public concerns such as the NEET-UG examination, CBSE OSM, and inflation. This statement was made following a high-level organizational meeting chaired by party president Mallikarjun Kharge, which included AICC general secretaries, state in-charges, and PCC presidents to discuss current political developments. Speaking to the media, Shelja asserted that it is the Congress party's duty to highlight the struggles faced by the public, pledging to address issues related to 'pain and suffering' across the nation. She stated that the Congress has consistently raised its voice on these matters and will persist in doing so, stressing the importance of discussing all relevant topics, including NEET, CBSE, and inflation.


Key Leaders Attend the Meeting

The meeting saw the participation of senior Congress figures including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, and K.C. Venugopal. Other attendees included Gaurav Gogoi, president of the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee, Harish Chaudhary, in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Congress, Telangana Congress president Bomma Mahesh Kumar Goud, Girish Chodankar, president of the Goa Pradesh Congress Committee, and Amarinder Singh Raja Wadding, head of Punjab Congress. This gathering followed a meeting of the INDIA bloc led by Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday.


Future Plans and Coordination Among Opposition

During a press conference, Kharge announced that parties within the INDIA bloc will meet every two months to enhance coordination on national issues and to effectively counter the BJP-led government. He noted that 25 parties participated in this meeting. Kharge mentioned, "It was agreed that all parties in the INDIA alliance will convene every two months, with the next meeting scheduled for August in Hyderabad." Additionally, the parties decided to write to the Chief Justice of India regarding special intensive revision (SIR), 'vote theft', and electoral irregularities.
