Kharge's Critique of Modi's Leadership
On the occasion of the NDA government's 11-year anniversary under Narendra Modi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge accused the Prime Minister of making 33 mistakes during this period. He expressed disbelief at the level of dishonesty displayed by Modi, claiming he has never encountered a Prime Minister who deceives the public and misleads the youth to such an extent. Kharge stated, 'Having been in politics for 65 years, I have never seen a Prime Minister lie so frequently and mislead the people. He lies about everything... He has never acknowledged his mistakes or apologized for the falsehoods he has propagated.'

Continuing his attack, Kharge noted that Modi failed to acknowledge the contributions of the previous government regarding the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla rail project. 'As the former Railway Minister, I allocated the most funds to that project and the Northeast. Everything he (PM Modi) inaugurates was initiated by us,' he added. Kharge criticized Modi for his claims of supporting democracy, pointing out that no Prime Minister has left the Deputy Speaker's position vacant since independence, yet Modi has done so. 'This act is illegal and undemocratic, showing his lack of faith in democracy. I have written to him that this position should be filled according to the Constitution, but he has not done so. He must understand that the government operates under the Constitution in this country.'

In a conversation with reporters, Kharge emphasized that the Prime Minister consistently lies and fails to implement his promises, often lacking answers when questioned. He remarked, 'Whether it's demonetization, job creation, or MSP, there are numerous issues. He has never admitted to lying to the public or making mistakes, nor has he apologized for them. He keeps making statements, and now it has been 11 years.'
