Congress Accuses Bihar's Double Engine Government of Failing Law and Order

The Congress party has accused the Bihar government, led by the JD(U)-BJP coalition, of severely undermining law and order in the state, asserting that a significant change is imminent in the upcoming assembly elections. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge stated that the alliance has played a pivotal role in transforming Bihar into the crime capital of India. He expressed his concerns on social media, highlighting that the opportunistic double engine government has devastated the law and order situation, citing the murder of eight businessmen and five incidents of police brutality in the last six months.

Kharge further noted that just yesterday, five members of a single family were killed due to superstitions, with even innocent children not spared. He emphasized that the JD(U) and BJP alliance has left no stone unturned in making Bihar the 'Crime Capital' of the country. He pointed out that statistics from the Modi government reveal that poverty in Bihar is at an all-time high, and the situation regarding social and economic justice has deteriorated significantly. The stagnant law and order has resulted in investments being limited to mere paperwork. This time, Bihar has resolved not to remain sick any longer! A change is certain, and the INDIA alliance will bring it about.
