Legislator Addresses Passenger Discomfort at Pari Chowk
Jewar, Gautam Budh Nagar. The local legislator has expressed serious concerns regarding the significant inconveniences faced by passengers at the Pari Chowk area in Greater Noida, prompting him to send a detailed letter to the Chief Executive Officer of the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
In his correspondence, the legislator highlighted the alarming lack of basic amenities at such a crucial and busy traffic hub. Thousands of students, employees, women, senior citizens, and residents from rural areas travel through this location daily, yet they are met with inadequate facilities such as shaded waiting areas, drinking water, and seating arrangements.
He pointed out that during extreme heat and rain, passengers are forced to wait for hours in the open for buses, which particularly affects women, children, and the elderly. This situation is deemed unacceptable from both a public convenience and administrative sensitivity perspective.
The legislator urged the authority to promptly establish modern and permanent bus shelters, drinking water facilities, adequate seating, a digital bus information system, and proper lighting in the Pari Chowk area. Additionally, he called for enhanced passenger safety and traffic management with the assistance of local police.
He expressed confidence that the Greater Noida Authority would act sensitively on this critical public issue and take necessary actions swiftly to provide relief to the general public.
