The sports channel Geo Super, part of the Jang Group, revealed in an online report that these players will not be considered for the upcoming series. The report indicates that the national selectors did not include Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, or Shaheen Afridi in their discussions for the latest T20 squad.

Babar Azam and Rizwan have already been overlooked for T20 Internationals, having last played in a series against South Africa last year. Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi's impressive performance in the Pakistan Super League raises eyebrows regarding his exclusion from the T20 setup. However, sources from the PCB have indicated that the issue lies with Afridi's attitude, which has led selectors to adopt a stricter stance.
