Ram Temple Construction Update

According to Nripendra Mishra, the chairman of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya is set to be completed by June 5. Mishra stated that the main temple will be established with rituals by this date. The first and second floors, along with the temple's spire, have already been constructed. The first floor will feature the Ram Darbar, which will include statues of Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman. These statues have been crafted by artisans from Jaipur using the renowned Makrana marble sourced from Rajasthan.

Mishra further mentioned that the statues from Jaipur have already been dispatched and are expected to arrive in Ayodhya by June 23. Additionally, 14 smaller temples within the Ram Temple complex will also undergo consecration by June 5. A minor construction task, involving a small section of the temple wall, is anticipated to be completed by September. He noted that the trust has decided that devotees will be allowed to visit the temples within a week after the consecration. Due to limited space on the first floor and the weight capacity of the stairs, only 750 to 1,000 visitors will be permitted in the Ram Darbar each day, with online passes available for booking.

Mishra also announced that spiritual leaders from various religions will be invited to the consecration ceremony on June 5. However, no VIPs or political figures from the central or state government will attend the event. He emphasized, "There is no political motive behind the temple's construction. This moment has arrived after over 500 years of struggle." Following the consecration, the newly completed section of the temple will be opened to the public within a week.
